Developing creative contexts for language, literacy and learning across the curriculum

Creative Contexts CPD: ICT in language and literacy

This range of courses explores creative and engaging ways to incorporate computers in into the English curriculum, enhancing the experiences of reading, writing, talking and listening. The workshop approach, with hands-on support and teacher resources to take away, helps to ensure increased confidence and sustainable learning on return to school. The interactive, problem-solving and creative nature of all of these courses means that they are well-matched to the principles of A Curriculum for Excellence.

These courses all need to run in PC-based suites and variously make use of Word, Textease, Publisher, PowerPoint and SmartBoard software, though it may be possible to offer Promethean training if prior access can be given to the training suite.
