The
Literacy Exchange is a national network for local authority advisers
and quality improvement officers, university staff involved in initial
teacher education, school librarian organisations, literature and
literacy organisations – indeed anyone with an interest in
the development of 5-14 literacy and language in Scotland. We meet
three times a year, around the country, for a day of sharing projects
and research, information and ideas, issues and concerns. Presentations,
speakers and group discussions relating to 5-14 English and literacy
are interwoven with opportunities for informal networking over lunch
and coffee, allowing professional connections, partnerships and
support networks to develop.
