Shakespeare
Alive!
This
is a practical, hands-on Shakespeare day for teachers who would like
to bring Shakespeare’s texts to life for 9-14 yr olds. Strategies
for dramatic exploration are coupled with a look at a rich array of
reading and writing and language development opportunities that can
stem from his plays. The approach is very much in keeping with the
principles of A Curriculum for Excellence, using the text as a platform
for a wide range of curriculum opportunities and creative learning
in a variety of contexts which can be explored in depth over an extended
period of time. Running in South Lanarkshire 2007-8. |
