The
Spelling Bank . . . and more This
practical workshop, based around the KS2 Spelling Bank developed by
the National Literacy Strategy in England, provides teachers with
a range of investigative strategies and consolidation activities that
allow spelling to be taught in meaningful ways to pupils aged 7-12.
Teachers attending this course should be able to go on to deliver
spelling programmes for their pupils which are creative and interactive
as well as rigorous, systematic and thorough in their coverage, and
which will help children to develop both independence and curiosity
about spelling. Recently run in South Lanarkshire and Inverclyde. |
